Maria Vasylenko is a contemporary artist from Kyiv who is interested in the world of ideas and parallel realities. She uses sacred and ancient techniques in a new context.

With their help, the artist raises topical issues of our time. In addition to social phenomena and upheavals, Maria explores her own path as a spiritual seeker. Without offering any answers, she asks questions and invites the viewer to feel them.

There is no final meaning in her works, only an invitation to walk. After graduation from the Art and Graphic Institute she was engaged in pedagogical activity and design work. She continued to paint landscapes, still lifes, portraits and digital art.
