Echoes and Visions

at Old Sessions House

Curated by Art Shield, 'Echoes and Visions' features diverse expressions of Ukrainian artists artists Oleksandr Dubovik, Gamlet, Dmytro Moldovanov, the Feldman Sisters, Sasha Maslov, Maria Vasylenko, Dmytro Kozynets, Bohdan Burenko, SOC.I.A, Darina Smolkina, Iryna Maksymova, Notuko, Love Curly and many more. In an age celebrating personal expression, Art Shield emerges within the contemporary art scene, dedicated to exploring, championing, and showcasing artists from Ukraine and across the globe, endeavouring to elevate their creative output to new heights.

The Echoes and Vision installation merges the works of seasoned masters, such as 92-year-old Dubovik, with the bold visions of younger artists, mirroring the rich tapestry of Ukraine's artistic legacy amidst unprecedented challenges. Many of these creatives are now on the front lines, their art a symbol of resistance during turmoil.
