After his early studies at the Taras Shevchenko State Art School and Kyiv State Art Institute, Dubovych began to create his multifaceted work. After becoming a member of the National Union of Artists in Ukraine, he gained notable recognition in the 1980’s through avant-garde creations. His artistic approach is rooted in mathematical, philosophical, and intricate systemic processes.Diverging from the traditional Soviet artistic landscape, Dubovik embarked on a pursuit of what he considered 'true and everlasting art.' Rejecting established conventions, he charted an unconventional course, giving rise to his own artistic tradition—one he termed 'suggestive realism’.

As an artist today, he believes that his vision is in the preservation of spiritual power, a strength that can generate support for Ukraine’s victory.
