Oleksiy Belusenko (born 1960). Painter, graphic artist, interior designer, sculptor, restorer and curator. Born in Kazakhstan, he went on to work as an artist-restorer at the National Scientific Research Restoration Centre in Kyiv (1987-2012).

Belusenko takes reference from Ukrainian backdrops and landscapes, capturing a romantic impressionism view through soft brush strokes and a subdued, complimentary colour palette.

The use of cold and warm tones, in varying amounts, creates a weightless contrast, adding to the already intimate atmosphere.
